As one of the leading women oral surgeons in South Korea, Dr. Lee received distinguished recognition in her field. In additional to being well published, Dr. Lee is frequently invited to speak at dental conferences both in the United States and in Asia, and holds active membership in various professional associations and scientific societies, including the American Association of Endodontics, Academy of Osseointegration, Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Korean Society of Maxillofacial Aesthetic Surgery, Korean Dental Association, to name a few.

Dr. Lee chose to expand her area of expertise by completing her residency in Endodontics. She remained as a faculty member there before moving to Virginia, where she continues to practice as a specialist today.
